'Rocks and Relics', 2006 , Double accordian-fold.

Based on a walk on a beach, west of Stromness, Orkney, in September 2005, from Warebeth to Whale Geo, via Stennigar, The Noust, Point of Spoil, Rack Wick, Broad Shore, Lang Tainga, and Billia Croo.

In this book I am concerned with what we are doing to our beaches with the trash we throw away. One side of the book reveals 8 prints of unspoilt beach landscape and the other side has 8 prints of beach litter, in this case the fishing and farming litter of Orkney.

Paper, Somerset, acrylic screen mono-prints with soft pastels, acrylic medium and varnish , Lazertran, found materials, inc. wood, plastic.
