'Silverdale Winter Pilgrimage' is a stick bound book, on acid free cartridge paper. The cover is of birch bark from Silverdale (used by permission)
Size 12.8 cm, 14.4 cm, 14 pages, with 7 illustrations, digitally manipulated photos, inkjet prints on glossy paper.
Silverdale is my favourite woodland in this area. Walking alone gives a very different experience from walking in company. I feel in relationship with nature. Yet however intense the feelings, I find they are quickly forgotten unless I capture them in a poem. I have manipulated the photos to try and bring out the qualities that I put into the poems.
